ECPAT UK which stands for End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes, is a leading children’s rights charity that works to protect children from exploitation and transnational child sexual abuse. Its primary aim is to ensure that all children are safeguarded from exploitation and ensure victim’s rights are recognised and upheld. The organisation wish to support, offer protection and justice where it’s needed and the charity achieve this through a combination of research, campaigning, training, youth participation as well as direct support for young people who are affected by the issues ECPAT UK fight against. The charity work closely with the government, policymakers and professionals to impove legislation, strengthen child protection systems and raise public awareness to ensure long term change and the protection of children’s rights is acheived.
The charity received 1 laptop and 15 SIM cards. This refurbished technology will ensure they can continue influencing and enforcing change to protect young people.
