Hospices of Hope is a dedicated charity whose vision is for all patients suffering from terminal or life-limiting illness to receive specialist hospice care so that they can live and die with dignity and without pain. Their strategy is to increase access to free hospice care so that everyone suffering in South East Europe can receive specialist end of life care when they need it. By working through its partner organisations in Romania and surrounding countries, Hospices of Hope aid to relive the suffering of terminally ill adults and children by increasing the access to palliative care. Hospices of Hope encourages the hospice movement through education, innovation, and advocacy.
The charity received one Windows 11 laptop, which will enable their staff and volunteers to work more efficiently, supporting communication, administration, fundraising and the coordination of medical aid and volunteer programmes. By reducing the charities technology and operating costs, the donated equipment will ensure more of the charities resources can be directed towards supporting patients, families and partner hospices. The practical donation will help the charity make everyday count for people living with serious illness.
