St Mungo’s is a registered charity that has been on the frontline for homelessness for 55 years, helping people to move forward with their lives. They aim to eradicate homelessness and support people who are experiencing homelessness to build more independent and fulfilling lives. The have frontline teams who are out on the streets, everyday and night, looking for people who urgently need their help. By providing accommodation and supporting clients to develop their skills and confidence, they aim to help people live independently and move toward a more stable future.
The donated Windows 11 laptop will provide their clients with essential access to technology, helping them manage important aspects of their lives independently. It will enable their clients to access and manage benefits and other essential services online, search and apply for employment opportunities, access education and training, and communicate with relevant organisations. Having reliable access to a laptop will reduce digital barriers and give clients greater control over their lives, supporting their journey towards independence, employment, education, and ultimately a life away from homelessness.
