The AVOCADO Foundation
The AVOCADO Foundation is a UK charity dedicated to tackling economic inequality by empowering underrepresented young people, entrepreneurs and non-profit organisations through financial literacy and entrepreneurship education. The charity delivers training and capacity-building programmes for BAMER (Black, Asian, Multi-Ethnic and Refugee) communities across the UK and Africa, supporting more than 2,500 young people through financial education workshops. Its initiatives include the AVOCADO+ Accelerator, the AVOCADO HUB digital resilience platform and HUB HQ, an affordable co-working space designed to help BAMER-led organisations and social enterprises grow and become more financially sustainable.
The charity received two LifeStations (Linux laptops). The donated devices will support BAMER-led charities, entrepreneurs and participants in the Foundation's training programmes by providing access to digital skills training, grant applications, fundraising, business planning and online learning. The laptops will also be used within the charity's HUB HQ and AVOCADO HUB initiatives, helping strengthen collaboration, improve digital resilience and create greater opportunities for underrepresented communities.
