Al-Jarryah Foundation

This charity particularly aim to support underserved members of the Muslim community, helping vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals, women and children, low income families as well as young people with limited access to quality education or essential support services. The charity wishes to create greater opportunities for the Muslim community to maintain dignity, equality and long term independence to take forward into their future. Al–Jarryah fulfil their aims by providing practical assistance, financial and material support, mentoring and access to essential services to help their beneficiaries achieve long term stability. Their projects and support extends beyond the community within London, with international projects aimed at creating a world where the groups they support have equal access to food, education and break the cycle of poverty, funding shelters in the Philippines and a hub of learning care in The Gambia.

The Al-Jarryah Foundation was nominated by Landaid and received a Windows 11 laptop to support their charitable work. The laptop will make a significant difference, strengthening the organisations capacity to deliver essential services as well as improve the quality and efficiency of these programmes. Having access to more technology means the charity can reach a greater number of beneficiaries and create better opportunities for individuals facing hardships to receive the aid they need.
