I AM IN ME is committed to empowering children, young people, and families through mentoring, personal development, education, and inclusive programmes. With tailored support for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), the charity seeks to inspire confidence, promote positive wellbeing, and create opportunities to actively aid individuals improve their social mobility and thrive within communities. By delivering evidence-based programmes, they equip participants with the confidence, resilience, and practical skills they need to thrive.
The donated Windows 11 laptop will significantly enhance the work of I AM IN ME by supporting its work placement programme and increasing organisational productivity and efficiency. The dedicated device will enable volunteers and interns to complete administrative tasks, develop resources, undertake research, and contribute to programme delivery. It will also provide young people on work placements with valuable hands-on experience of using workplace technology, including creating CV’s, completing projects, using workplace software, and developing essential digital and employability skills. Thus access to technology will help prepare young people for further education, training, and future employment, while strengthening I AM IN ME’s capacity to support more beneficiaries effectively.
