The Jack Petchey foundation is a London and Essex based charity, whose mission is to enable young people between the ages of 11-25 to achieve their potential by inspiring, investing in, developing and promoting activities that increase their personal, social, emotional and physical development. They host uplifting celebration events that are dedicated to young people in order to recognise their efforts and achievements within their schools, colleges or youth groups. The young people receive an award along with a £300 grant to spend to benefit other young people at their school or youth club.
The donated Windows 11 laptop will provide valuable support to a young person who may otherwise be unable to access the technology they need due to financial circumstances or disability. Having access to a dedicated device will help remove barriers to education and enable the recipient to complete school, college, or university work for effectively. The laptop will provide an important opportunity for the young person to develop their digital skills, complete assignments and projects, access educational resources, and engage more fully with their studies, helping them to reach their potential and progress towards future opportunities.
