Look Ahead Care and Support are a chairty that is a dedciated organisation that supports people across London and the South East who are experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, learning disabilities and complex needs. They aim to help people gain the confidence to live independelt and thrive within their local communities, providing safe housing and high qaulity, person centrered support. The chairtry achieves their aims by working alongside the people they support to tailor serveices and deliver a range of accommodation, care and wellbeing support programmes. Through combined services such as shousing, social care and skills devlopment working, Look Ahead helps people build confidence and develop independent living skills and achieve greater stability in their lives to take forward into the furture.
The chairty received one laptop at this event. This will mean IT equipemnt can be porvided to young people that the chairty are supporting through independent living as well as their education and studying. This will ensure that young people facing problems turn into good strong credible law abising citizens. In an ever evolving digital world, it means the charity’s beneficiaries would be able to access online services and upskill themselves and become familar with modern technology. They will be able to take this knowledge forward, assiting them within the workplace or employment and their personal lives.
