Holding Your Online Hands CIC supports vulnerable and isolated people in Camden who struggle to access services that are increasingly provided online or over the phone. Through free community drop-in sessions, its volunteers help residents complete digital and telephone-based tasks, access food and baby banks, apply for energy and financial support, resolve utility issues and connect with other local services. The organisation also provides practical support for people who may lack digital skills, confidence or access to suitable technology, including older people, families experiencing financial hardship and people for whom English is not their first language.
The organisation received one Windows 11 laptop. With three volunteers supporting its work, the donated device will provide additional equipment for volunteers to assist families during drop-in sessions and help people complete essential online tasks and access the support they need. By increasing the technology available to its team, the laptop will help Holding Your Online Hands expand its services, support more residents and increase its social impact across Camden.
