Joining Communities CIC is a Camden-based community organisation working to strengthen local communities and improve access to shared spaces and opportunities for residents. Based at Athlone Community Hall in Kentish Town, the organisation works with local people, volunteers and partner organisations on community-led projects, including initiatives that encourage residents to take an active role in improving and caring for their local environment. It is currently involved in a project with Camden Council and other partners to improve the garden at Athlone Community Hall and create a more welcoming community space for local residents and wildlife.
The organisation received one Windows 11 laptop. The donated device will support Joining Communities CIC in coordinating its community activities, communicating with residents and partner organisations, managing administration and helping volunteers deliver local projects more effectively. By strengthening its digital capacity, the laptop will help the organisation involve more residents in community initiatives and continue developing opportunities that bring people together across Camden.
