Vital Beats Charity delivers high-quality, arts-based programmes designed to improve wellbeing and create positive, lasting change in people's lives. Since its establishment in 2015, the organisation has worked primarily with women involved in the criminal justice system, using creative arts to promote healing, empowerment, and personal development.
Vital Beats delivers its programmes across a range of settings, including Eastwood Park Women's Prison, the Nexus therapeutic unit, Eden House Approved Premises, Refugee Women of Bristol, The Nelson Trust, and men's approved premises. The organisation also works in partnership with organisations including HMP Send, Bristol Mind, Active Recovery, and Barnardo's, and supports two all-female performance groups: Tolo Ko Tolo in Bristol and Cascada in London.
The donated laptop will provide valuable support to the organisation by replacing outdated equipment currently used by staff. It will be used for essential administrative tasks, including document and file management, spreadsheet preparation, online meetings, and programme administration. The upgraded device will improve operational efficiency, enabling staff to deliver services more effectively and dedicate more time to supporting beneficiaries.
