West of England Centre for Inclusive Living (WECIL)

WECIL (West of England Centre for Inclusive Living) is a Bristol-based disabled people's charity that works to promote independent living, equality, and inclusion for disabled people, older people, and individuals with long-term health conditions. Led by disabled people, the charity provides a range of services including information and advice, advocacy, peer support, direct payment and personal assistant support, employment assistance, and community engagement activities. Through its person-centred approach, WECIL empowers individuals to exercise greater choice and control over their lives, access opportunities within their communities, and overcome barriers to participation.

The donated laptop will provide a dedicated office-based device for disabled employees, helping the organisation to support accessible and inclusive hybrid working while reducing practical barriers to office attendance. The equipment will also deliver financial benefits by reducing the need to purchase additional technology, allowing more of the organisation's limited resources to be directed towards delivering services and supporting beneficiaries.
